Made in Germany with a twist. Höfner’s 130-year old tradition meets 21st century eco-friendly technology. The fingerboard, nut, and saddle are made with a special composite material made from recycled wood products, and replaces the need for large pieces of ebony – an increasingly precious resource. The European spruce and maple are harvested from sustainable forests, and then naturally air-dried for many years and decades. The traditional natural resin varnish is safe for the environment, and helps the instruments look and sound their best. This all adds up to a Germanmade violin with excellent acoustic response and a full tonal spectrum. Includes ebony Parisian eye pegs and endbutton, Despiau B level French bridge, ebony tailpiece with E tuner, Guarneri model ebony chinrest, Evah Pirazzi strings.
