Studying with Henri Vieuxtemps and performing with Franz Lizst are among Émile Sauret’s many musical accomplishments. The 1744 Guarneri del Gesù violin he played became know as the “Sauret” and was recently purchased by Itzhak Perlman.
Émile Sauret Violin features a carefully handcrafted violin with a spruce top and highly figured maple back, finished to an advanced Stradivarius graduation pattern. The hand-applied shaded varnish with light antiquing compliments the hand selected tonewoods. The Émile Sauret features a Wittner tailpiece, African ebony fittings with Parisian Eye accent, Aubert bridge and Maple Leaf Strings Fortizzo perlon core strings.
