The HOF4-5 Höfner Professional Cello is handcrafted from select European tonewoods and reflects the centuries-old German tradition of string-instrument making. Time-honored skills are passed from master to apprentice, allowing each generation of Höfner makers to preserve the workshop’s commitment to quality and musical performance.
Crafted under the guidance of a master maker, the HOF4-5 offers easy response, a full-bodied voice, and sonorous projection. Its beautiful antique varnish honors Höfner’s historic beginnings in Schönbach, while premium fittings and a choice of three classical models allow professional cellists to select their preferred tonal and playing character.
