Created as an homage for the late Maple Leaf Strings Luthier, Philip Doan, the MLS513 Noble Philip is intended to honor his commitment to Maple Leaf Strings and the national musical community. As we look towards Philip’s legacy, it is clear that Philip valued his community dearly and committed his life to serve it. In the spirit of Philip’s orchestral community generosity, this instrument will be a vehicle to advancing musical opportunities for orchestral players. Music changes the trajectory of a student’s life and we will carry Philip’s legacy forward, one instrument and one student at a time.

For each Noble Philip purchased, Maple Leaf String will donate 10% of proceeds towards a scholarship fund created to provide access to private music education for underserved musicians.
