The NS Design Omni Bass is built for bass guitarists seeking the expressive sound of an upright and upright bassists who need a more portable performance instrument.
Its familiar 34-inch bass guitar scale preserves conventional electric bass fingering, making the transition comfortable and intuitive. Available in fretted and fretless four- or five-string models, the Omni Bass delivers rich, dynamic tones whether played with the fingers or a bow.
The four-string model provides a familiar range down to low E, while the five-string version extends the instrument’s range to low B. Combining the tonal character of an acoustic upright with the power and flexibility of an electric bass, the Omni Bass is an exceptionally versatile choice for stage, studio and rehearsal use.
